Ustaritz Arruntz is located south-east of Biarritz, towards Cambo and St Jean-Pied-de-Port, both well worth visiting too.

The coastal resorts of Biarritz, Bidart, Guéthary, Anglet are only 15 to 25 minutes away; you can also be in Spain within 30 minutes, either by taking the scenic route through Espelette, Aïnhoa, Dantxaria, or by the motorway.

For golfers, the Makila golf club in Bassussarry is only 3kms away.

Izar Ona House (in basque: Good Star), offers 2 double-rooms each with its own bathroom and wc. The entrance and parking are both private.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Tea, coffee and fruit juices are available in the adjoining kitchenette where there is also a refrigerator at your disposal.

Breakfast is served between 9 and 10 on the terrace which has a wonderful view of the garden and the mountains.

How to get there:

From Biarritz airport or station (15 minutes away from Izar Ona House), follow the direction for the A63 motorway and connect with exit 5 "Bayonne sud, Cambo, St Jean-Pied-de Port"

From exit 5 "Bayonne sud, Cambo, St Jean-Pied-de Port" :
- At the first round-about "Compagnet", take the N 932 towards Ustaritz, Cambo, St Jean-Pied-de-Port
- After 3 kms, carry straight on after the Makila Golf club round-about
- Ditto after the second round-about
- Take the side-exit to the right "Arruntz / Herauritz"
- At the top, turn to the left, continuing over the bridge and passing the "Leku Eder" restaurant on the left
- Then straight on the next round-about, and take the "Jamotenea" road facing until the end
- The maison Izar Ona is the penultimate house on the right
